Yes: Levavi **confirms plurality**, but it is **not the poly-Yahwism** of Kuntillet Ajrud. He takes different raw material and hangs the title “YHWH” on it.
Yes: Levavi **confirms plurality**, but it is **not the poly-Yahwism** of Kuntillet Ajrud. He takes different raw material and hangs the title “YHWH” on it.
## What is actually on his table
Academic poly-Yahwism yields only geographic epithets of one name:
- YHWH of Samaria (יהוה שֹׁמְרֹן)
- YHWH of Teman (יהוה תֵּימָן)
- plus later cult titles such as YHWH of Hosts / YHWH in Zion
This is like “Baal of Zaphon” and “Baal of Hamon”: one name + a place.
Levavi’s list is different:
- YHWH Sin
- YHWH Shamash
- YHWH Enki
- Bel-Marduk = Adonai / YHWH
That is no longer “YHWH of city X.” It is an **ancient-astronaut formula**: YHWH is read as an **office** worn in turn by different Anunnaki. Where the list comes from — he says so himself: “I received by email a list… of gods who were called YHWH.” The roster arrived from the Sitchin / “researcher” milieu, not from cuneiform and not from Kabbalah.
## Where “the rest” come from
His text splits into three layers.
### 1. Real Mesopotamian genealogy
This is not his invention.
- Anu
- sons: Enlil and Enki
- Enlil’s line: Nanna/Sin (the moon) → Sin’s children: Utu/Shamash and Inanna/Ishtar
- Enki’s line: Marduk
- Ninurta — Enlil’s enforcer
Ur and Harran are real cult centers of Sin. Abraham’s family leaves Ur via Harran — that is the biblical route, and the link “Terah / Ur / Harran / moon cult” is discussed by ordinary historians as well. From here Levavi can honestly take **Sin**.
### 2. Sitchin, almost verbatim
From here almost the entire remaining structure:
- 450,000 years, 600 Anunnaki, Nibiru, 12 bodies of the solar system
- the genetics of “lulu amga / tit”
- Dilmun as a spaceport, Kadesh-barnea as a port, Ninurta’s nuclear strike on Sinai around 2024 BCE
- a cylinder seal “as a map of the planets”
- Abraham as Ishtar’s agent against Marduk
Sitchin himself could not pick one YHWH: in Eden / the Flood he is now Enki, now Enlil, now above both. Later writers, including Levavi, solve the problem simply: **they do not choose**. Every major god = “YHWH of such-and-such a department.”
### 3. Kabbalah as a license, not as a source of names
PaRDeS (peshat / remez / derash / sod) functions for him as a pass: “if you read peshat alone, better not study at all.” That lets him not derive names from the verse, but insert a ready-made Anunnaki table into the verse.
“Sons of Elohim” → *ilu* / the high ones
“men of the name” (*anshei ha-shem*) → Akkadian “ship” / spacecraft
The second is pure Sitchinism. Akkadian *šumu* means “name,” not “spaceship.” “Name” as a hero’s brand (“men of renown”) is an ordinary Semitic idiom.
Kabbalah gives him a **method of reading**, not a catalogue “YHWH Sin / YHWH Shamash.” Those labels come from the email and from the *Earth Chronicles*, not from the Zohar.
## How his concrete map is assembled
| Figure in Levavi | Where the figure comes from | Why he is called YHWH |
|---|---|---|
| Sin / Nanna | real moon god of Ur and Harran | cult of Abraham’s ancestors + Sitchin’s Enlil line |
| Shamash | Sin’s son, solar judge | neighbor in the pantheon; in Levavi also “dispatcher of Dilmun” |
| Enki | lord of the Abzu / the west | Sitchin’s designer of humankind |
| Marduk / Bel | Enki’s son, god of Babylon | in Levavi the **chief** YHWH / Adonai of Canaan |
| Ishtar / Inanna | Sin’s daughter | mistress of Abraham and of Sumer III |
| Ninurta | Sin’s brother | the nuclear strike on Sinai — Sitchin’s plot |
He did not excavate “the rest” at Nippur as an inscription *Yahweh-Enki*. He took the ready-made Sumerian council of twelve and **hung the title YHWH on every slot**, because in his scheme the word means “lord / mission commander,” not the personal name of one cult.
Hence the oddity: Bel-Marduk is, for him, “the YHWH they forgot to name in the email.” That is no longer epigraphy. It is a patch, so that the Babylonian victor can enter the same brand.
## Where he parts from testable poly-Yahwism
Kuntillet Ajrud says: one theonym, different **places**.
Levavi says: one title, different **persons of the pantheon**.
These are two different operations.
The first strengthens your §1.
The second belongs to your hermeneutical tier (Enlil / Enki / Shamash / Marduk), but it is not evidence. It is a translation of Sitchin’s table into the language “YHWH + name.”
Further technical faults in his text, so as not to lean on them as “excavations”:
- Layard dug **Nineveh / Nimrud**, not Nippur. Nippur is the University of Pennsylvania expedition.
- Nineveh ≠ Nippur, and Sin’s chief temple is not there.
- Ashurbanipal’s library is real; the “days before the Flood” formula is royal scribal rhetoric, not Nibiru’s flight log.
- “Anunnaki = those who from heaven to earth came” is Sitchin’s rendering, not a dictionary entry.
- Twelve bodies from the seal — his/Sitchin’s iconography, not Ur III astronomy.
## What can be taken from Levavi into your text — and what cannot
Usable as a **parallel on the left**: Israelite memory does in fact pass through Ur and Harran, that is, through the belt of Sin’s cult; Marduk does become “the one” by seizing names; Shamash does stand behind solar judgment.
Unusable as a source of poly-Yahwism. Otherwise your hard tier (Samaria / Teman / Asherah) will mix with his email, in which YHWH is insignia on any Anunnaki.
In short: **he did not find the other YHWHs. He appointed them.** The list of gods is from Sumer. The particle “YHWH” before each name is from Sitchinite mail and from his book *Secrets from the Pardes*.
