Chapter 10. Small Nations — The Ring of Fragments
Chapter 10. Small Nations — The Ring of Fragments
It is impossible to begin this chapter with names. A name without prior preparation is like a shop sign into which the reader is pushed directly from the street: they see a word, they do not see the goods, and they conclude they are being deceived. First, simple things must be laid on the table. What a Great Canon is. What a small nation is. What is designated in this book by the term "Anunnaki." What a fragment is. And what a massacre is—when that word is spoken not as an abstract symbol, but as the physical destruction of living cellular tissue. Only then can we approach the Armenians, Assyrians, Samaritans, Mandaeans, Yezidis, Druze, Zoroastrians, and Jews. Otherwise, what remains is merely a long list of suffering, whereas we require a functional map of memory.
1. Methodological Threshold: Canon, Nation, and Function
The Great Canon and the Monopoly on Time
A Great Canon is a religion or historical narrative that has won. It perceives itself as complete, absolute, and requiring no supplementation. It possesses a state seal, a textbook taught in schools from first grade, and a holiday enshrined by law in the national calendar. But its primary force lies in its exclusive right to declare "thus it was." This right does not request the consent of those who were not included in "thus it was"—those who were edited out or erased at the manuscript layout stage.
The Great Canon holds a unique imperial capability: it knows how to live without the people who remember differently. The temple key can burn, the administrative language can change, and the kingdom's capital can relocate thousands of kilometers away—yet the Canon remains intact because millions of mouths mechanically repeat it. It resembles a massive building where the locks were replaced, the original tenants evicted, and their pages torn from the registry. The building stands. The cult continues. The former inhabitants are treated as if they never existed. The Great Canon always produces a total illusion that history began only at the moment of its triumph, and that everything preceding it was merely an immature "preparation," "barbarism," or "pagan darkness."
[ Living Memory of the Tribe / Valley ] │ ▼ (Filtering, Compression, Editing)[ The Victorious Great Canon ] ──► [ State Textbook and Calendar ] │ ▼ (Declaring Alternatives "Non-Existent")[ "White Noise" and Erasure of the Decoder ]The Small Nation and the Anatomy of Survival
An empire is constructed in an utterly simple manner. It undergoes a change in clerical language with the same ease that a river shifts its sandy banks. A different monarch's portrait is stamped onto the coin. A new name for the supreme deity is written in the administrative decree. The imperial river continues to flow without altering its course.
A small nation does not know how to live this way. It has no backup capital if its current one burns to the ground. It has no foreign oceanic fleet that will come to its aid simply because it is "strategically important" to the global market. It has no school where its national script will be placed on the same shelf alongside "true basic sciences" rather than relegated to folklore for tourists.
All it possesses is the tribe (clan/family). Tribe here is not a poetic metaphor from a folk song. A tribe is a living network of human beings who recognize one another without an imperial passport—by the tone of vowels, by a family mark, by an unpoken memory of shared disaster. It has a mountain visible from every house's window, and a river entered not according to a victor's festival hour, but because those waters washed the bodies of their ancestors. There is a fire lit without a ruler's portrait, simply because the fathers lit it so. There is a script that never fitted the government administration's alphabet. And there is a continuous memory that all of this was already attempted to be severed—not in a philosophical debate in the town square, but with a knife, through neighborhood purgings, on the road to the burning desert, through the prohibition of the original name, and through the dense silence of academic textbooks.
Anunnaki as a System of Roles
The Anunnaki in this book are neither a plot line for fashionable panic nor a reason to seek alien helmets in every ancient icon. That is the name given in our framework to the council of foundational operational roles of the world, from which the major religions later retained only abstract masks.
A role must be understood literally—as practical work for maintaining reality, otherwise the word reverts to an exotic slogan:
- There was the work of water—maintaining the sweet abyss, purification, and preserving life against dry earth.
- There was the work of decree—determining measurements, weights, laws, and rigid spatial boundaries.
- There was the work of script—recording celestial cycles, registering harvests, and safeguarding cause-and-effect relationships.
- There was the work of earth motherhood—the continuous reproduction of the biological block and care for childbearing springs.
- There was the work of refusal—the metaphysical and social capacity not to bow before a foreign Tower of Babel.
- There was the work of fire—incisive judgment of truth operating without a portrait and without a man-made idol.
The victorious Great Canon consolidated all these specialized tasks into a single name and declared the rest non-existent or demonic. Whoever remembered the division of labor and the internal structure of the council automatically became a "pagan," "heretic," or "sectarian remnant."
+-------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Mechanics of Functional Transformation |+-------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Ancient Council (Multi-Dimensional)│ Victorious Canon / Monotheism |+------------------------------------+------------------------------------+| • Work of Water (Enki) │ ──► Consolidated into a single || • Work of Decree / Judgment (Enlil)│ will; all alternative || • Work of Motherhood (Ninhursag) │ functions declared "sin," || • Work of Refusal / Fire │ "rebellion," or "demonic || │ forgery." |+-------------------------------------------------------------------------+The Enki Thesis: Memory of Function, Not a Slogan
The Enki thesis addresses a different logic of data preservation. Enki in our context is a designation for the house of water, applied knowledge, craft, and the engineering of the remnant. In ancient Mesopotamian myth, he is not the one who executes the blind administrative decree to "reset the noisy city." He is the one who bypasses the council's prohibition, warns man through the reed wall, teaches how to pitch the ark, deposits the seed of life, and prevents the reset from becoming total.
His memory need not be laid out in a state museum under his historical name. It lives within the nation that continues to perform his applied work, even if it long ago forgot the clay tablet bearing his title. Performing the work and citing the name are two fundamentally different things:
- The Mandaean immerses himself in the flowing water of the river and is not required to pronounce the Sumerian word "Enki."
- The Armenian looks from the valley toward twin-peaked Ararat and is not required to read Rawlinson's cylinder seal.
- The Yezidi preserves the right to refuse foreign prostration and is not required to search for his roots in the Library of Ashurbanipal.
Memory here is not tested by the presence of a slogan or citation. It is tested by the daily execution of the displaced work.
2. The Fragment, The Ring, and the Illusion of the "Single Vault"
What is a Fragment
A fragment is not a physical piece of clay in one's pocket, nor a secret manuscript hidden beneath the threshold. A fragment is a single surviving functional work.
Anunnaki memory within a small nation does not mean that the elders of the community keep a drawing of an ancient god's starship in an iron chest. Whoever reads history in that manner has replaced research with a pulp novel. Memory means that within the community's culture, a fundamental aspect of the world's structure has been preserved—one that the Great Canon discarded into the trash or compressed beyond recognition:
- Water as salvation and passage, not merely as blind punishment for human sins.
- The living voice of the valley, in which cuneiform script was once carved, still spoken by a child rather than residing solely in a Louvre glass display case.
- The debate over the true world axis—over that specific geographical location where a precise schedule was established for the meeting of heaven and earth.
- Metaphysical refusal of prostration, which the victorious empire rushed to label "devil worship" to eliminate pity in future purges.
- A closed transmission system, created because every open information node was immediately burned by the ruling power.
- The fire of truth, functioning as an objective law of nature without an image of a leader.
- The portable scroll, whose structural seams still reveal the editing process: the ancient council was compressed into a single name, yet could not hide every fold of the text.
Structure of the Ring
Eight traditions stand within the Ring of Fragments: Armenians, Assyrians, Samaritans, Mandaeans, Yezidis, Druze, Zoroastrians, and Jews.
[ Armenians: Mountain of the Remnant & Anahit ] [ Jews: Compressed Council ] [ Assyrians: Voice of the Valley ] [ Zoroastrians: Fire of Truth ] [ Samaritans: Debate over the Axis ] [ Druze: The Closed Door ] [ Mandaeans: Living Waters ] [ Yezidis: Refusal to Prostrate ]The Ring is not a magical alliance, nor a secret order, nor an elite club. It is an external observation vector. From the inside, each house looks only at its own mountain, prays in its own tongue, and is not required to know or love its neighbors. No alliance or joint headquarters has ever existed among them in this book, and nothing of the sort is attributed to them.
The list is not closed. If tomorrow another nation emerges on the world map with a living lineage, a forbidden imperial name, a unique functional work, and a fresh grave that has not cooled—it will stand in the same row. Not by our decree, but by functional verification.
However, those already named cannot be erased for the sake of a neat literary brevity. Early drafts of this text were shorter, but it must not be kept short. A list shorter than the real nations is the favorite method of the victor. That is how official textbooks are written: those not listed in the table of contents are treated as if they never existed.
The Absence of a Single Vault
None of these nations holds the entire blueprint. This must be repeated continuously, because a reader accustomed to historical detective stories always seeks a "single central vault" where the complete truth about the world is hidden.
A single vault does not exist. Therein lies simultaneously the greatest protection and the greatest tragedy of ancient knowledge:
- The protection lies in the fact that the code fragments are placed in entirely different, disconnected baskets. It is impossible to come to a single point on Earth and burn the mountain, the river, the language, the fire, the door, and the scroll in a single imperial bonfire.
- The tragedy lies in the fact that each fragment is individually vulnerable to the extreme. It is easy to declare it a "local superstition," a "marsh-swamp sect," or a "mountain gang," and destroy it separately while the remaining fragments watch from the sidelines, assuming it does not concern them.
3. Anatomy of a Massacre: Terrestrial Causes and Systemic Repetition
The word "massacre" must be dismantled with surgical precision before it becomes another abstract slogan.
This book does not claim that in the secret archives of great empires there lay a document stating: "Destroy these eight nations because they preserve the Anunnaki blueprint." Such a document has never been seen. Inventing it here would constitute a second crime against the dead. The first time, they were murdered physically. The second time, an attempt would be made to turn their death into a artificial illustration for a theoretical scheme that never belonged to them.
In different eras, these nations were slaughtered, starved, and expelled for earthly, hard, and thoroughly pragmatic reasons:
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Terrestrial Engines of Genocide |+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Imperial Fear ──► Dread of a subject praying outside state control. || Institutional Greed──► Inability to collect heavy taxes on foreign cults.|| Neighborly Envy ──► Desire to seize land, orchards, cattle, and homes.|| Nation-Building ──► The demand: "One nation, one language, one leader"|| Armed Hooliganism ──► Clearing territory of those pre-labeled "unclean".|+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+The reasons are entirely terrestrial. The bodies are entirely real. What makes these blows identical is not a mysterious wand across the centuries, but the identical mechanical clearance of the centralized system. The small nation has no divisions, no diplomatic veto power, and no one to call. The Great Canon possesses a billion executing mouths.
The repetition of these disasters must be explained without mysticism. A physician observing the same clinical picture in different patients does not need to believe they were all poisoned by the same specific cook. We see a recurring systemic strike against the living carrier of information, and we do not need to believe that all historical tragedies—from Ottoman deportations to the siege of As-Suwayda—were signed by the same secretariat.
The fragment survived not because the barrel aimed at the ancient myth and missed by accident. The barrel did not think about the myth at all. It thought about plunder, about fear of superiors, about "racial purity," about receiving a medal. The fragment was carried through by specific human beings whom they failed or did not manage to eliminate. The knowledge survived against all odds, not through the luck of a symbol.
The Armenian Genocide (1915–1923)
This was not a "generally difficult wartime period," as apologists for empires like to write. It was a planned system: people were torn from places where their ancestors had lived for thousands of years, like tearing old books from shelves. They were driven into the burning sands of Deir ez-Zor, murdered along the roads, and drowned in rivers. The houses were left empty, and others moved into them immediately.
The survivors became a total diaspora—a nation forced to build its churches where its vines never grew. The endless political dispute over the term ("genocide" or "collateral war casualties") is convenient only for those wishing to erase the list of destroyed villages. An empty village is not repopulated by diplomats referring to its depopulation as "mutual historical sorrow."
Sayfo — The Assyrian Genocide (1915)
"Sayfo" (The Sword)—the word by which Assyrians designate their own destruction during those same months and on that same land. They were slaughtered often by the same hands that slaughtered the Armenians, yet in foreign textbooks Assyrians do not exist at all.
[ Small Nation ] ──► [ Physical Destruction ] ──► [ Conspiracy of Silence in Textbooks ] │ ▼ [ Total Erasure from Memory ]This is the second disaster, standing right beside the first. It is convenient "not to notice" it. If Sayfo is mentioned, one would have to admit that this was not the purging of a single political element, but the systemic destruction of the oldest indigenous peoples of Mesopotamia. The silence of the academic textbook operates no less effectively than a Turkish or Kurdish bullet. Whoever does not exist in the book does not exist in the neighbor's memory. And the neighbor later marvels sincerely: "Tell me, did such a people really live here once?"
The Holocaust — The Destruction of European Jewry
The extermination of Jews by the Nazis in the mid-20th century: ghettos, extermination camps, firing pits, industrial-scale processing factories for human tissue set on an assembly line.
The Holocaust must never be retold as a "secret operation against the Kabbalah, the hidden scroll, or the Anunnaki blueprint." That is a deep and dangerous distortion. The Nazis murdered Jews: the tailor, the teacher, the child, the neighbor, the shoemaker. The Torah scroll survived not because the barrels aimed at an exotic myth and missed the Sefirot scheme. It survived through the few who remained alive in that hell, and through those who read it secretly in freezing basements when the mere act of reading it outside meant immediate execution. To reduce the Holocaust to a "hunt for hidden knowledge" is to lie directly about both the scale of the crime and the memory of the victims.
The Desiccation of the Mandaeans
This is not a single night of blades, but a slow, planned displacement whose slowness makes it easy to categorize as a "natural process."
The community of southern Iraq and the Iranian Khuzestan coast has dissolved over centuries: through non-stop warfare, branding as "unclean infidels," ecological destruction and the draining of the Mesopotamian marshes under Saddam Hussein, and massive flight across the ocean. The sacred river Euphrates still flows. But almost no one remains to enter it for the baptismal ritual. That is how an ancient cult dies: when they destroy not the book itself, but the physical human beings who know how to enter the water correctly. The silence that follows appears to an outside observer as "climate change." But it is not climate—it is the result of informational and demographic displacement.
The Strike on Shingal and Lalish (2014)
The Yezidi genocide in the 21st century, committed by Islamic State (ISIS): mass executions of men, slave markets for women and children, and the flight of hundreds of thousands to the bare rocks of Mount Shingal.
The Yezidis were labeled "devil worshippers" for centuries. This religious blood libel prepared the ground for destruction across generations, just as a farmer prepares a field for harvest: so that on the day of the slaughter, no neighbor would lift a finger. In 2014, the blood libel became the technology of direct genocide. Whoever was designated in advance as a "servant of Satan"—it is permissible to rape them, sell them, and slaughter them with a clean conscience.
The Siege of As-Suwayda
A current tragedy unfolding right now, not a dusty page from a history book. The primary Druze city in southern Syria—As-Suwayda—lives under conditions of complex siege and constant vulnerability: shellings, blocked transport arteries, provocations, and the ongoing threat of purging.
For the Druze living there, official declarations from foreign ministries do not alter the physical ring on the ground. A ring on the ground means very simple things: the road outside the city no longer belongs to you, humanitarian aid enters only with foreign permission, and leaving the city carries the risk of death. As-Suwayda is a city where one cannot speak of the Druze today as a "fascinating event from the Fatimid era." It is a living intersection of resistance.
4. Eight Aspects: Memory, Work, and Metaphysics
Below, each of the eight nations possesses a distinct, unambiguous aspect of memory. They must not be interchanged. Whoever calls a sacred mountain by the name of a river reduces our list once again and turns these distinct ancient functions into yet another "artificial sect under our title."
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Functional Specialization of the Fragments |+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Nation │ Primary Memory Aspect │ Applied Metaphysics |+--------------+-----------------------------+------------------------------+| Armenians │ Remnant Mountain & Anahit │ Refusal of Tower; Water Mother|| Assyrians │ Living Voice of the Valley │ Phonetic decoder of cuneiform|| Samaritans │ Dispute Over True Axis │ Rejection of center shift || Mandaeans │ Living Sweet Waters │ Passage, not punishment || Yezidis │ Metaphysics of Non-Bowing │ Beauty declared "evil" || Druze │ Closed Door of Transmission │ Code preservation in fire || Zoroastrians │ Fire of Truth Without Statue│ Cosmic law of Asha || Jews │ Compressed Council & Scroll │ Mobile node in exile |+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+1. Armenians: Memory of the Remnant and Mothers of Water
The Armenians call themselves Hay (
Հայ). The external name by which the international community knows them does not coincide with their internal name—and in the Ring of Fragments, this is a ironclad rule: the nation knows itself differently from how the victor registers it.[ Founding Father Hayk ] ──► [ Refusal to Build Babel Tower ] ──► [ Departure to Mountain ] │ ▼ [ Preservation of Autonomy ]Hayk in their national myth is an archer and hero who was summoned by a foreign tyrant named Bel (Nimrod) to build and serve the imperial tower. The symbol of the tower requires no archaeological excavation: it is centralized foreign rule, foreign heavenly laws, and a decree to submit through prostration. Hayk did not go. He gathered his tribe, went north into the mountains, and when Bel marched against him in war, Hayk shot him with an arrow and killed him. The nation bears the name of the one who left, not the name of the tower. The aspect of refusal to serve a foreign system is present from the beginning.
Twin-peaked Mount Ararat (Masis) in foreign canons is merely a scenic backdrop where Noah's Ark rested after the flood waters receded. For the Armenian valley, this is not a picture from a foreign Bible. In the Enki thesis, the flood is not a moral lesson on "humanity's sins," but a global reset and a policy of preserving the remnant. Someone was warned through the wall, the seed was hidden, and the land returned to being a place of life. The nation standing at the foot of this mountain holds a foundational aspect: the reset was not total.
Anahit (
Անահիտ) is the second, indispensable half of this aspect, without which the mountain would remain merely a dry stone fortress. She is the golden mother of mountains, lady of waters, fertility, and healing, close to Iranian Anahita and Mesopotamian mother-earth figures. They built grand temples to her and offered her golden crowns.[ Temple of Anahit ] ──► [ Christianization / Destruction of Statues ] ──► [ Cult of Mary / Sacred Springs ] │ ▼ [ Water Continues to Flow ]The adoption of Christianity shattered her statues and removed her signs, but could not plug the springs themselves. Sweet waters continued to flow where the temple was forbidden. The goddess's name shifted to place names, folk charms, and the unique veneration of the Mother of God (Surb Astvatsatsin), beneath which the ancient voice of the spring remains clearly audible.
The feminine governance of the world is remembered: height of a mountain without maternal water becomes a dry imperial decree. The 1915 genocide murdered living human beings, but could not destroy this connection: departure from the foreign tower, the Mountain of the Remnant, the Mother of Water, and the unique alphabet created by Mesrop Mashtots as an open shield.
2. Assyrians: Memory of the Living Voice of the Valley
The Assyrians carry in their throats the memory of the exact language spoken and written across lower and upper Mesopotamia. Preparation is required here, because modern observers easily confuse this nation with a dusty museum exhibit.
Where cuneiform script was once carved on wet clay and where the Babylonian Talmud was later written, the living Aramaic root (Neo-Aramaic dialects: Sureth, Suryoyo) is still heard today.
Cuneiform script was declared a perpetual yet dead disc alongside a lost key. The clay did not burn. The scribal school (Edubba) burned, and the decoder's economic status was broken. The Assyrian is not a museum tablet. The Assyrian is the living remnant of the phonetic decoder itself.
[ Ancient Cuneiform (Clay) ] ──► [ Loss of Scribal School ] ──► [ "Dead Disc" ] │ ▼[ Assyrian Speech (Sureth) ] ──► [ Living Phonetic Key ] ────► [ Reading Meaning ]The aspect does not consist of a drawing of a Sumerian ship kept in a wooden box in an Assyrian village near Hasakah. The aspect consists of the fact that the living key to the ancient valley's tongue is not located solely in the British Museum, accessible via a ticket. A dead key waits for an expert scholar with a research grant. A living key sits in the kitchen, speaking this language to children.
The difference between them is profound. The expert scholar can be stripped of funding or the department closed. The children can be physically murdered—and then the ancient channel of information closes forever without burning a single library.
The Sayfo disaster struck precisely at this living throat. To lose this nation means leaving the Mesopotamian valley without its own voice, waiting centuries for Western scholars to grant it permission to "be knowledge again." Without the living throat of the Assyrians, all other Mesopotamian chronicles become foreign translations. And a translation always belongs to the one who performs it.
3. Samaritans: Memory of the Dispute Over the True Axis
Very few Samaritans remain—only a few hundred individuals living on Mount Gerizim and in Holon. The great imperial world grew accustomed to speaking of them in the past tense while they were still alive. This is a favored method of obscuring information: declare the nation "nearly extinct," and its sacred mountain becomes an unthreatening hiking trail.
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Geopolitical Dispute Over the Sacred Axis |+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Jerusalem Recension (Zion) │ Samaritan Recension (Gerizim) |+----------------------------------+---------------------------------------+| • Center shifted to David's │ • Center was and remains at the || capital. │ summit of Mt. Gerizim (Torah). || • Inclusion of prophetic books. │ • Total non-recognition of shifting || • Political monopoly of King │ the sacred point to a Judean || and Jerusalem priesthood. │ capital. |+----------------------------------+---------------------------------------+The Samaritans (
Shamerim — Guardians of the Torah) stand on Mount Gerizim with their ancient Torah written in Paleo-Hebrew script (Da'atz), into which later prophetic books and Jerusalem's historical editing never entered.Their aspect is not simply a desire to defeat the Jerusalem catechism. Their aspect is a direct refusal to recognize that the official link between heaven and earth shifted its position to a foreign political capital.
The axis of the world in our framework is a concrete location where a precise schedule between heaven and earth was set. A mountain, a temple, a high place. The Great Jerusalem Canon resolved the ancient dispute through force, royal authority, and book distribution scale, declaring it the "sole divine will." A few hundred people on the exposed wind of Mount Gerizim have held a firm memory for centuries: the cosmic junction possessed a completely different geographical address, and the victorious capital never asked the mountain's consent.
For a casual tourist, this appears as an "amusing quarrel between two ancient villages over whose Passover is older." For our framework, it is a memory that the cosmic junction is not required to coincide with the administrative office of the current victor.
4. Mandaeans: Memory of Living Sweet Waters
The Mandaeans (
Mandaeans — Knowers, from Aramaic Manda — knowledge/gnosis) carry the most direct and unadulterated aspect of the House of Enki, which this book names without abstraction.[ Eridu / House of Enki ] ──► [ The Great Sweet Abyss (Apsu) ] │ ▼[ Mandaean Ritual ] ────────► [ Flowing Water (Yardena) as Eternal Passage ]No artificial hypotheses are necessary here. In their sacred book, the Ginza Rabba, there is no flag bearing the name Enki, but Enki's work is continuously performed:
- Living flowing sweet water (Yardena) is considered the sole source of life and purification.
- Repeated baptism (Masbuta) is performed not once in a lifetime as an administrative entry ticket into a community, but regularly—as a constant return to the living source.
- Light is strictly contrasted with material darkness and chaos.
- Knowledge (Manda) is understood as direct salvation of the soul, not as a "primal sin" for which man is expelled from Eden.
John the Baptist (Yahya Yuhana) is for the Mandaeans not merely a "minor forerunner" who had to step aside for a foreign Messiah, but the great teacher of water and guardian of true ritual. The Great Christian Canon made John merely a temporary step on the ladder of the New Testament. The Mandaeans never accepted this translation. Therein lies their exact aspect. The Great Canon favors a hierarchical ladder where the old always serves the new. Living water serves nothing. It is itself the sole passage.
In the victorious canon, water is almost always punishment (the Deluge, the Red Sea drowning the Egyptians). For Mandaeans, water is the gentle passage of the remnant, the medium through which man purifies and remains alive. This is the exact same policy as the ancient warning through the reed wall. The Mandaean community is dissolving before our eyes. If this living channel is severed, the House of Enki will remain alive only in translations by Assyriologists. The difference between an academic museum and actual immersion in the river is the difference between a mummified corpse and living breath.
5. Yezidis: Memory of Metaphysical Refusal
The Yezidis carry in their tradition the memory of Melek Taus (The Peacock Angel), the sacred mountain center Lalish, and the ancient right to refuse prostration to that which is not the absolute source.
[ Decree to Prostrate ] ──► [ Melek Taus: Refusal to Bow to Clay ] ──► [ Declared "Satan" ] │ ▼ [ Preparation for Slaughter ]Neighboring populations interpreted Yezidism for centuries as direct "devil worship." This interpretation was convenient from a practical standpoint. That convenience must be stated plainly: it completely removes human pity. Whoever refuses to bow to your state or religious decree is declared the "devil of your decree." And with the devil, one is not required to share water, sit at the same table, or—in a convenient year—refrain from slaughtering his entire village with a clean conscience.
The Yezidi aspect is that exact deep metaphysical layer that the victorious imperial story declared "the fall of the proud one":
- The primal light that does not lie down beneath a secondary decree.
- Supreme beauty (the peacock), declared absolute evil simply so that one does not have to conduct a dialogue with it.
The Peacock Angel is not a carnival mask of evil. It is the image of that primary entity that did not enter the system of foreign prostrations, and for which imperial theologians drew horns and hooves.
This is the same work of refusal as that of the Armenian Hayk, who left Nimrod's tower. But the ending of the foreign historical parable was completely different: Hayk became the proud name of an entire nation, while Melek Taus became the "chief demon" for the monotheistic environment. The difference lies not in the morality of the refusal itself, but in who wrote the final textbook and who possessed more soldiers and printing presses.
The bloody strike on Shingal in 2014 demonstrated clearly why this blood libel was kept on hand for centuries. The libel was not a "private theological opinion," but prolonged artillery preparation for physical genocide.
6. Druze: Memory of Closed Transmission
The Druze (
Al-Muwahhidun — The Unitarians) carry the aspect of a closed, hermetic system of information transmission.[ Fatimid Cairo (11th C.) ] ──► [ Open Preaching (Dawa) ] ──► [ Existential Threat ] │ ▼[ Closure of Doors (1043) ] ──► [ Hermetic Tribal Transmission ] ──► [ Preservation of Code ]In the 11th century, following the disappearance of Caliph Al-Hakim bi-Amr Allah, the doors of Druze preaching (Dawa) were closed completely and permanently. An outsider cannot become a Druze. The key to their sacred texts (Rasa'il al-Hikma — Epistles of Wisdom) is not placed in the town square nor sold in bookstores.
The external name "Druze" derives from Anushtegin ad-Darazi, whom the community itself considers a heretic and traitor. This is another ironclad rule in the Ring: the victorious world prefers to call a nation by the name of a person whom the nation itself does not view as its father.
The closure of the Druze is a direct metaphysical response to an attempt at information purging. The Great Canon and the empire favor display windows. Everything placed on display is mapped, taxed, converted, or burned by the empire. The Druze learned the inverse law: an open information node is always burned first.
Therefore, the supreme code is transmitted across centuries through mechanisms of secrecy, reincarnation (Takammuz), and strict separation between spiritual leaders (Uqqal — the initiated) and the general populace (Juhhal). The initiated read the code; the rest provide physical protection for the community. This is a memory that a complex matrix code survives under conditions where any external display window is life-threatening.
As-Suwayda pays in blood today for this memory. The external siege cannot capture the contents of the Druze vault, but attempts to destroy the city where that vault resides.
7. Zoroastrians: Memory of the Fire of Truth
The Zoroastrians (Parsis, Zardoshtis) carry the memory of Asha (the cosmic law of universal truth) and the unextinguished Fire (
Atar), lit without a man-made image.[ Pure Fire (Atar) ] ──► [ Absence of Man-Made Idol ] ──► [ Incisive Judgment ] │ ▼ [ Struggle of Asha vs. Druj ]Fire without a portrait signifies a simple philosophical reality: the supreme judge exists, but cannot be approached and dragged off as war plunder to a museum. Cyrus the Great's decree once placed this Persian concept alongside Babylonian Marduk and Hebrew YHWH as three equivalent seals on a state order returning captives to their homes.
The aspect of Zoroastrianism is neither the "water work" of Enki nor the "refusal to bow" of the Yezidis. It is a rigid measuring rod of absolute cosmic order. In this system, there exists a total corruption of reality called falsehood (Druj), and world-restorers (Saoshyants) who restore original harmony.
Zoroastrianism stands closer to the Mesopotamian "House of Decree," processed through deep Iranian philosophical synthesis. This book does not forcibly cram Ahura Mazda into Enki. Forced identification is a cheap forgery. We are obligated to record the aspect honestly: memory that cosmic order can be a pure fire of truth, rather than merely a male name in administrative script.
Today, Zoroastrians in Iran are nearly demographically extinct. The sacred text of the Avesta is accessible to scholars, the display window exists, but the living nation itself has nearly vanished. This is the exact opposite of the Druze: the Druze have a closed door and a dense, militant population in As-Suwayda; the Zoroastrians have a text open to all, yet a living population that has almost disappeared.
8. Jews: Memory of the Compressed Council and the Portable Scroll
The Jews carry within the Ring of Fragments the aspect of the Compressed Council. Their volume in our work has been written, but their aspect within the Ring must be defined clearly, lest the structure lose its stability.
[ Ancient Council (Elohim / Plurality) ] │ ▼ (Jerusalem Editing)[ Compression into Single Name (YHWH) ] ──► [ Visible Seams: Shekhinah & Hokhmah ] │ ▼ (Destruction of Temple)[ Relocation of Center to Scroll ] ──────► [ Mobile Node in Exile ]The ancient Torah scroll compressed the faces of the ancient Mesopotamian council into a single name, yet could not fully hide the textual seams:
- At the text's beginning, the plural form Elohim (
אֱלֹהִים) remains prominent, which later theological tradition was forced to interpret as "majesty" rather than a memory of the council. - Hokhmah (
חָכְמָה— Wisdom) in the feminine, present during the creation of the world. - Shekhinah (
שְׁכִינָה— Divine Presence) in the feminine, departing into exile alongside her people. - A complex calendar, without which every ancient node is mute: no schedule—no link with the cosmos.
The primary Jewish aspect is the mobile node. The Romans burned the physical Temple in Jerusalem. They took the stone mountain. But the nation took the scroll and carried it away. The Jews learned to maintain connection with the upper node without a physical temple and without territory of their own.
The Holocaust was not a "hunt for the Torah's textual seams." The Jewish scroll survived in a manner completely different from Mesopotamian cuneiform. Cuneiform waited fifteen hundred years for European polyglots to decipher it, remaining meaningless noise to the world during that entire time. The Jewish scroll did not wait a single day—it was read continuously in basements, attics, and ghettos, when the mere act of reading it carried a death sentence.
In our Ring, the Jewish scroll serves as a tool for verification and comparison, rather than the sole center of the world. Through it, one can clearly observe how the victorious system compressed what the remaining nations of the Ring hold in separate pieces: water, refusal, fire, mountain, and language.
5. Quiet Erasure and Open Decree
The process of destroying ancient memory operates continuously through two alternating modes, depending on the era.
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Two Modes of Memory Destruction |+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Open Decree (Physical) │ Quiet Erasure (Informational) |+---------------------------------+----------------------------------------+| • Pogroms, deportations, slaughter| • Rewriting history textbooks. || • Conquest and burning of cities.| • Labeling: "sect," "gang," "cult." || • Direct murder of language and │ • Reducing living traditions to || ritual carriers. │ "charming folklore for tourists." |+---------------------------------+----------------------------------------+- Open Decree strikes directly at the physical body of the nation. These are shellings, deportations, military sieges, and blade operations.
- Quiet Erasure strikes at the memory's right to be considered true knowledge. It operates through academic textbooks and news headlines, where the small nation is pre-defined as a "terrorist gang," an "ethnic minority," or a "dying folklore troupe":
- The Armenian is reduced simply to a "generic victim of World War I," and within that abstract "generic" term, the memory of the Mountain of the Remnant and Anahit's waters drowns.
- The Assyrian is omitted entirely from school curricula, silencing forever the living voice of the Mesopotamian valley.
- The Samaritan is turned into an exotic postcard for tourists, reducing the fundamental dispute over the world axis to a "local superstition."
- The Mandaean is labeled a "marsh sect," turning Enki's living waters into a curious pagan custom unrelated to the history of science and philosophy.
- The Yezidi is defined as a "devil worshipper," transforming his great refusal to prostrate into demonic guilt.
- The Druze is termed a "closed mountain gang," turning his hermetic transmission system into a "criminal secret."
- The Zoroastrian is converted into a museum display: a pretty, safe fire with no living human beings surrounding it.
- The Jew is turned either into the "universal scapegoat" or the "keeper of a dark global conspiracy"—anything to prevent the textual seams of his scroll from being read as memory of the ancient council's compression.
The victor remains thoroughly convinced that the nation was erased along with the fall of its last fortress. This thought is simple, making it exceedingly popular among generals: a city can be conquered, renamed, repopulated with your settlers, and your flag raised above it.
Yet the Armenians remained a nation without Van and Ani. The Yezidis remained without security in Shingal. The Druze may lose the road from As-Suwayda, but will not lose the internal code of transmission. The foundational memory aspect does not coincide with a mailing address. A mailing address can be surrounded by tanks. Memory is far more difficult to encircle—though every new imperial ring attempts to do precisely that: create conditions under which no one remains to perform the ancient work.
6. Synthesis: The External View and Outline for Subsequent Volumes
From the outside, these eight pieces assemble into a precise puzzle. But from the inside, these nations never signed any alliance. This must be repeated so that our chapter does not become another artificial construction:
- Anahit's waters and the Mandaean baptism in the Yardena do not cite one another, nor did they forge a treaty. Yet both preserve the memory of water as salvation, rather than punishment.
- The peacock of Melek Taus and the bow of Armenian Hayk preserve the same work of refusal toward the foreign tower, even though victorious historical literature scattered them to the poles of "national hero" and "devil."
- Druze As-Suwayda and Samaritan Gerizim remember well that the world axis does not ask permission from the imperial capital.
- The living speech of the Assyrians and the mobile scroll of the Jews both emerged from the Mesopotamian valley, yet do not constitute a single book.
- The unextinguished fire of the Zoroastrians and the compressed name of the Torah both speak of absolute cosmic order, yet do not form a single temple.
+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Internal Fragment vs. External Ring |+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+| Internal Perspective (Isolation)│ External Perspective (The Ring) |+----------------------------------+---------------------------------------+| • "Our mountain is the only one."│ • A single functional network appears.|| • Unawareness or alienation │ • Each nation holds a unique aspect || toward neighbors. │ of displaced knowledge. || • Uniqueness of private tragedy. │ |+----------------------------------+---------------------------------------+| Result: Fragments do not merge into one canon; they preserve uniqueness. |+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+These languages must not be confused or forcibly merged into an exotic mash. The Ring of Fragments is visible solely from the outside—to one comparing the displaced functional tasks. Inside each house, only the mother tongue is spoken. And that is not a flaw in our map. It is the core condition by which the ancient fragment avoided becoming another victorious Great Canon and did not bow beneath a new Tower of Babel—this time, our own.
Accordingly, each of these aspects demands a separate, detailed volume—with the same methodological groundwork laid in this chapter, requiring no repetition:
- Volume I: The Druze — Closed Transmission and the Burning Perimeter of As-Suwayda.
- Volume II: The Armenians — The Mountain of the Remnant, Hayk's Bow, and Anahit's Waters.
- Volume III: The Assyrians — The Living Phonetic Decoder of the Valley.
- Volume IV: The Samaritans — The Eternal Dispute Over the Geographic Axis of the World.
- Volume V: The Mandaeans — Enki's Sweet Waters and the Yardena Ritual.
- Volume VI: The Yezidis — The Metaphysics of Melek Taus and the Right to Refuse.
- Volume VII: The Zoroastrians — The Unextinguished Fire of Truth and the Law of Asha.
- Volume VIII: The Jews — The Compressed Council, Shekhinah, and the Mobile Scroll of Exile.
The general puzzle of history cannot be assembled as long as the memory of the mountain is read as the memory of the river, as long as eight living traditions are compressed into an early imperial draft, and as long as blood and massacre are turned into illustrations for theoretical schemes about which no one ever asked the dead themselves.
Questions for Deep Reflection
- By what functional markers can one distinguish today between the "living execution of a displaced work" and the "formal utilization of an ancient symbol" in modern culture?
- Why does the mechanism of "quiet erasure" (academic silence, reduction to folklore for tourists) frequently prove to be a far more effective tool for memory destruction than direct physical violence?
