“Puma Punku” generally refers to an area approximately 167 meters long and 117 meters wide on the arid highlands of Bolivia. Within this perimeter lie blocks with characteristics that make them unique. They can be described as quadrangular blocks with an “H”-shaped facade. Among the features that make them unique is undoubtedly the extreme precision of their cut. The inner and outer corners of the blocks, the edges, and every other detail are crafted with millimeter precision, so that they fit together perfectly.

According to virtually all scholars, whoever crafted those blocks must have possessed some kind of extremely high-precision instrumentation. The incredible accuracy of the stone cuts at Puma Punku closely resembles the precision with which the “King’s Chamber” in Egypt and the interior of the parallelepipeds at the Serapeum of Saqqara were constructed. In many of these blocks, one can see the symbol that is also repeated in the pyramids of Giza, which gives shape to the Grand Gallery and the niche of the Queen’s Chamber. It is an inverted, stepped “V.”

Another unique feature of these blocks is that they function as “modular blocks,” which can be interlocked in various ways, like a sort of “giant Lego.” Furthermore, these “enormous Lego pieces” are held together by an ingenious system of internal brackets, composed of a copper-arsenic-nickel-bronze alloy. Two diorite blocks were also found that were joined together using a similar system. The precision with which all these blocks were crafted leaves observers baffled. It does not feel at all like looking at objects from the past.

These rock blocks once formed some kind of building, while today they lie scattered haphazardly on the ground. It looks as if a giant baseball bat had suddenly struck a structure made of Legos, scattering them haphazardly across the floor. This indicates that, in this case as well, a massive “shock wave” violently struck this area, just as appears to have happened at Sacsayhuamán. It seems that this massive shock wave, of terrible violence, turned everything upside down.
