Dry sauna therapy is now being looked at as a powerful method for eliminating microplastics from the human body.

In a recent study, participants who used a dry sauna four times a week for 20–30 minutes showed up to an 86% reduction in microplastics found in both their sp*rm and bl*odstream.

Microplastics are tiny plastic particles that come from food packaging, polluted air, synthetic clothing, and even bottled water. Over time, they build up in the body and may contribute to hormone imbalance, reproductive issues, fatigue, and long-term health problems. Traditional detox methods have had limited success clearing them out, but dry saunas might be changing that.

The heat from dry saunas triggers deep sweating, which helps the body release toxins trapped in fat and lymphatic tissues. Unlike steam saunas, dry heat allows for a deeper cellular response without overwhelming humidity. The participants in the study maintained proper hydration and rested after each session, helping their bodies recover and continue the detox process naturally.

This discovery adds to a growing body of research supporting ancient wellness practices that work in harmony with modern science. While more clinical trials are underway, the results so far are impressive and hopeful for anyone concerned about invisible toxins in daily life.
